...WHERE THE BREAD OF FOOD, FRIENDSHIP, FAITH AND LOVE ARE BROKEN AND SHARED WITH ALL!!!

... a space where bread is broken,
companionship is celebrated,
gratitude and kindness are embraced
and the love and mercy of God are shared with
ALL!
As we listen to God's Word today, reflect on this:
What is Wisdom? Do we seek Wisdom? How do we obtain Wisdom? Jesus stands before us today as THE Wisdom of God! To know Jesus is to know Wisdom! Following the Jesus Way is how we too receive the Spirit of Wisdom that was bestowed upon King Solomon, King David and so many others!!!
The word Bethlehem in Hebrew means
'House of Bread.'
Breaking the Bread of Food,
Friendship, Faith and Love is what our Mission is all about.
Our Ministries are Rooted in the
Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy
(see Matthew 25:35-36)
while grounded in
the Christian Sacramental and Mystical Tradition.
Services Offered at Bethlehem House Ministries
Throughout the month we gather virtually on Sundays to carry out Christ's command at the Last Supper to "do this in memory of me." As Christians have done since the earliest centuries, we break open the Word as well as share in the bread and wine that is spiritual food for our journey.
Gathering in the domestic church of one's home for Eucharist is a special way to commemorate an important occasion such as a wedding anniversary, the anniversary of a loved one's passing or simply just sharing faith with the special people in your life.
Our "It Takes A Village" Project helps provide food, shelter, clothing, medicine, education as well as other services and opportunities to young people in Africa that we have "adopted" and taken under our wings for several years now. The need is great and resources are few. Consider making a small monthly contribution to this most worthy and noble cause. Click on link below for more information.
Thanks to those who generously donate to this cause which benefits our young "adopted" brothers and sisters in Africa!
We sincerely thank you and ask that you continue to support our efforts to help those in need!
Our latest project is Operation Compassion...

"It would be impossible to talk about how far I've come without mentioning the influence of Brother Jeremiah, aka Fr. Jerry, and his reputable organization, Bethlehem House Ministries.
My name is Sonuga Muyis Abiodun, aka Abbey. I'm from Nigeria. Unfortunately, I didn't get to know my mom. At 7 years old I became an orphan cause I lost my dad! My grandmother and uncle were responsible for my upbringing. It was my uncle who instilled in me a deep respect and love for God. This faith in God is what has kept me hopeful and grounded over the years.
Even though I grew up with the loving care and support of my grandmother and my uncle, there was very little they could do to help me build a better future. I'm now 25 years of age. After secondary school, for 7 years, I was unable to go to the university because of a lack of finances. I was on the verge of giving up on schooling, but at the eleventh hour, in May of 2021, I met Brother Jeremiah and everything changed! He said "we will get you to the University, we will make that happen" and that word is still as fresh in my heart and mind as this morning. That word gave me hope and a second chance to succeed.
He took me off idleness and helped me get to school. I will soon be entering my 4th year of studies at the University of Agriculture in Nigeria.
Brother Jeremiah and Bethlehem House Ministries have been very supportive of me over the last year taking care of school fees, housing on campus along with other expenses related to my educational pursuits.
Despite numerous setbacks along the way, I continue to work hard at completing my goal of graduating from the University, a reality I had given up on until I met Brother Jeremiah aka Fr. Jerry back in 2021.
I continue to hope and pray that another goal of mine be fulfilled, namely, to make my new home with Brother Jeremiah in the USA.
Brother Jeremiah and Bethlehem House Ministries have offered to sponsor me as I seek to obtain a visa that would allow me to visit and perhaps on day make my new home the United States where opportunities for a successful life abound (which do not exist in my country).
I humbly implore your ongoing assistance in making these dreams come true.
I greatly appreciate all of the support I have received! Please be assured of my continued prayers for you and may God bless you!
Peace and Blessings,
Abbey"
UPDATE:
Abbey's first attempt at a VISA was denied by the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria. VISA's from Nigeria to the USA are not always the easiest to obtain. We see this as a minor setback but we will move forward in our efforts to make Abbey's dreams come true.
Your support is needed and deeply appreciated!!!
